FIBA U-16 Women's African Championship: Nigeria beat Ghana to reach 2023 edition

The Nigeria U-16 Girls Basketball team have beaten their Ghanian counterparts to reach 2023 FIBA Africa U-16 Tournament in Tunisia, 17-65 points it ended.

The victory has earned the Nigerian side a place in the 2023 FIBA Africa U-16 Girls Championship which hold in Tunisia from July 13-23, 2023 in Tunisia.

At the Eden Heights, venue of the Qualifiers in Accra, the Ghanians failed again to reach the African Championship, while the Nigerian side will be featuring for the second time. Nigeria made their first appearance in Antananarivo back in 2015 where they finished their campaign as Silver medalists.

Nigeria picked the sole ticket for FIBA Africa Zone 3 Qualifiers and they will be representing the zone in the Championship.
