By Emmanuel Oladele - As Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Clubs continues their preparation for the upcoming 2022/23 league season, Remo Stars Sport Club of Ikene beat Sunshine Stars of Akure on Sunday in a club friendly at the Ondo State Sport Complex in Akure. Samuel Anakwe's brace in the 24th, 80th minute and a goal from Oluwasegun Oluwatobiloba Olalere in the 28th minute condemned the Akure Gunners to a 3-0 defeat.
The first half of the encounter ended 2-0, while the second half produced only one goal. The Ikenne based team are looking good and ready for the upcoming season which may kick off in December. At the end of 90 minutes, it's Sunshine Stars 0-3 Remo Stars, so it ended at the Ondo State Sport Complex in Akure on Sunday in a club friendly.
