2022 WAFCON Final Match Result: Morocco 1-2 South Africa - South Africa are Champions

By Emmanuel Oladele - Congratulations to the Banyana Banyana of South Africa as they were crowned the Champions of the Morocco 2022 Women Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) on Saturday.

The Mandela Girls defeated Morocco in the final game by 2-1 to win their first ever Women Africa Cup of Nations Title.

Banyana Banyana midfielder Hildah Magaia scored twice to earn South Africa a superb victory on Saturday's night. Moroccan striker Rosella Ayane pulled one back for the Atlas Lionesses but not enough to redeem the day for the North Africans. At the end of 90 minutes, it's Morocco 1-2 South Africa, so it ended at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, Morocco. See details below;
