NPFL: Struggling MFM FC Stun Enyimba in Ijebu-Ode, Victor Mbaoma Lone Goal Failed to Lift the People's Elephant

By Emmanuel Oladele - Struggling MFM FC stunned Enyimba International with a 2-1 defeat in Ijebu-Ode on Sunday.

After a goalless first half, Super Eagles and Enyimba forward Victor Chukwuma Mbaoma 52nd minute strike gave Enyimba the lead but was not enough to give the People's Elephant the victory of the day as Oladayo Alabi restored parity to MFM FC in the 64th minute from the spot. Eleven minutes later, Ifeanyi David Nduka scored to give the Lagos based team a 2-1 lead over their visitors Enyimba International.

The Relegation threatened MFM FC were able to sustain their lead until the end of the regular time and the eight minutes added time.

Despite the 2-1 win for the Olukoya Boys, they still remained at the bottom of the NPFL Log, but with 36 points.
