Wikki Tourists FC Narrowly Lost to Remo Stars in Ikenne by a Lone Goal

Adebayo Olamilekan's twenty fifth minutes goal was all Remo Stars wanted to give them the three points against Wikki Tourists fc on match day 26 of the Nigeria Professional Football League#npfl22 Season.

Wikki Tourists stated the game at exactly 4pm and soon after demonstrated their determination to revenge the first round result were Remo Stars triumphed over the Tourists with a 2-1 victory in Bauchi.

Pressure was mounted on each other and the two goalkeepers were put to test with some shots at goal.

The second half was more exciting as Wikki Tourists substitutions changed the phase of the game by mounting more pressure on the home team who resorted to delay tactics when it became obvious to them that the Tourists had become more solidified.

Wikki Tourists came close to equalizing when in the 70' Sunday Haruna's grounder shot kissed the bar and went out.

Three minutes was however added on regulation time but could not produce any goal as the final whistle was blown at 90+3.



Post Match Reactions: Dogo.

My boys played very well,we only lost through share ill luck.

That was the only chance Remo got and it was utilized.

Both teams did well but Remo where luckier, and I congratulate them for that.

There some challenges affecting our performance one of which is the long journey and you can imagine the stress.
