Kwara United to Play Plateau United on Monday as (LMC) Reschedules Three Matchday 22 Fixtures

Kwara United Football Club's Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Matchday 22 encounter against Plateau United earlier fixed for Sunday April 10th, 2022 has been shifted forward by a day.

The match, expected to hold at the Main-Bowl of the Kwara State Stadium Complex on Sunday will now hold on Monday April 11th, as LMC said the match and two others were shifted due to logistics reasons.

Letters to the affected clubs, and signed by  the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the League Management Company (LMC) Limited, Salihu Abubakar, stated "kindly be informed that the matches have been rearranged due to logistics reasons".

Also to play on Monday are Akwa United FC and Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, and Gombe United versus Nasarawa United FC at the Pantami Stadium in Gombe.

Kwara United FC lost 2-0 to Dakkada FC on Wednesday in Uyo, and will play Plateau United with the hope of improving on their standings on the NPFL table.

The team is currently fifth on the NPFL table with 34 points from 21 matches. Plateau United is second on the table with 44 points, behind league leaders Rivers United FC, which has 46 points.

Meanwhile, seven Matchday 22 fixtures will hold on Sunday in various centres, as league leaders Rivers United travel to Katsina to take on highly rejuvenated Katsina United FC, in a promisingly crucial encounter.

Lobi Stars will once again, exhibit their new found form in front of their home fans against troubled Kano Pillars, while Sunshine Stars hosts Abia Warriors.

In Lagos, Teslim Balogun Stadium to be exact, MFM FC will continue with their quest for survival when they trade tackles with Dakkada FC. Heartland FC will have their hand full as they play highly enterprising and mobile Remo Stars FC, same with Enyimba FC, who plays host to Rangers International in Aba.

The last fixture for the day will be between Niger Tornadoes and Wikki Tourists of Bauchi in Kaduna.
