FIBA WCQ: Nigeria narrowly escape Malians' Threat - Basketball

By Emmanuel Oladele - D'Tigers of Nigeria on Saturday narrowly escaped another defeat in the hand of Mali Men National  Basketball Team, the Nigerian side had to put up an extraordinary performance to record a narrow win over Mali with 72-70 points. Recall that the team lost their first game in the FIBA World Cup qualifier to Cape Verde on Friday, 79-71 points.

In Saturday's game, D'Tigers won the first, third, and the fourth quarters to escape the Malians threat. See details of each quater below;
Veteran Basketball player Ike Diogu, Jordan Ogundiran and Chris Obekpa were instrumental to Nigeria's victory over Mali.
