CAFCL: Rivers United land in Egypt for Al Hilal FC

The Rivers United’s contingent for Sunday’s CAF TotalEnergies Champions League 2nd preliminary round 2nd leg clash with Al Hilal of Sudan landed in Cairo on Thursday evening, from Lagos aboard Egypt Airline.

There were 23 players and 12 officials on board the B737-800 aircraft that touched down at the Cairo international airport at 9:03pm local time.

Sunday’s encounter is scheduled for the 27,000 capacity Suez Stadium in Ismailia Egypt.
