Birthday Boy Iheanacho scores in Leicester's vital away draw

By Emmanuel Oladele - Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho was on target for Leicester City as they played a 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace in premier league matchday 7.

The 25-year-old Nigeria who is celebrating his 25th birthday today, opened scoring for the Foxes in the 31st minute before Jamie Vardy doubled the lead for the visitors to end the first half 2-0 in favour of Leicester City.

In the second half, goals from Michael Olise and Jeffrey Schlupp in the 61st and 75th minute respectively restored parity to the home side.

James Maddison replaced Kelechi Iheanacho in the 71st minute, shortly before Palace equalised the second goal.

Iheanacho's compatriot, Wilfred Ndidi was not listed for the game due to injury.

The Foxes have also climbed to 13 position on the premier league log with 8 points following their 2-2 draw at Selhurst Park.

At the ended of the game, it's Crystal Palace 2-2 Leicester City, so it ended in the premier league matchday 7.
