By Emmanuel Oladele - FC Robo Queens of Lagos on Thursday proved their supremacy over NWFL counterpart Edo Queens in a Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Super 6 matchday three, 4-1 it ended in favour of FC Robo.
Super Falcons forward Monday Gift opened scoring for the Lagos team in the 38th minute of the first half to end the first 45 minutes with a 1-0 lead.
FC Robo Esther Oyenezide doubled the lead for the Emmanuel Osahon's led side with a brilliant effort in the 47th minute. Lawal Taiwo and Oke Maria sealed the victory for FC Robo in the 59th and 60th minute respectively.
Edo Queens Jumoke Alani scored in the 62nd minute to reduce the 4-0 deficit to 4-1.
FC Robo Queens now have 7 points from 3 games, as they continue to top the NWFL Super 6 log.
After the entire game time, it's Edo Queens 1-4 FC Robo Queens, so it ended in the NWFL Super 6 matchday 3 at the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu-Ode.
