Nigeria thrash Lesotho in AFCON Qualifier

By Emmanuel Oladele - The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Tuesday thrashed Lesotho in an Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier final game, at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos, 3-0 it ended in favour of the Eagles.

Victor Osimhen opened scoring for Nigeria in the 22nd minute after receiving a superb overhead pass from Kelechi Iheanacho to give the Super Eagles a 1-0 lead and to end the first half 1-0 in favour of Nigeria.

In the second half, Oghenekaro Etebo registered his name on the score sheet after after sending home a solo pass from Osimhen to take Nigeria lead to 2-0 in the 50th minute.

Paul Onuachu featured in the encounter as a substitute, and scored a superb goal in the 83rd minute, thanks to Henry Onyekuru for the assist that sealed the victory for Nigeria.

After the entire game time, it's Nigeria 3-0 Lesotho, so it ended at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos, in an AFCON Qualifier.
