Manchester United beat Burnley to disappoint Liverpool fans, go top of the League

By Oladele Emmanuel - It was a huge disappointment for many Liverpool fans who tipped Burnley to beat Manchester United on Tuesday so as to maintain their top spot on the log, but it turned out in Manchester United favour as they beat Burnley to go top of the league log, 1-0 it ended in favour of Manchester United. A superb 71st minute strike from Paul Pogba earned United the needed 3 points to displace Liverpool from the top spot.

Manchester United now have 36 points, and Liverpool with 33 after 17 games for both teams.

The win will be Manchester United first away clean sheet of the season, having conceded 11 goals in the previous seven away games. The critics of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may now have a rethink about the former Manchester United forward.

After the entire game time, it Burnley 0-1 Manchester United, so it ended in the premier league matchday 1 of 38, an outstanding game which was played on Tuesday.
