Golden Eaglets of Nigeria beat Burkina Faso to reach WAFU Tournament final, pick AFCON 2021 ticket

By Emmanuel Oladele - The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria on Friday defeated Burkina Faso National U-17 team to reach WAFU tournament final, also picked the 2021 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations ticket which holds in Morocco from 13th to 31st of March.

Michael Emmanuel Papo 77th minute strike was good enough to send the Eaglets to the final.

With a lot of uncertainties surrounding Fatai Amoo boys AFCON ticket before now, the Eaglets have proved their critics wrong. Nigeria will now face the winner of the other semi-final game between Niger and Cote D'Ivoire which will start by 8:00PM Nigeria Time (+1 GMT).

The final of the ongoing WAFU U-17 tournament in Togo will hold on Wednesday 20th January, 2020.
