Arsenal sign Madrid midfielder on loan

By Emmanuel Oladele - Arsenal have completed the signing of Real Madrid midfielder Martin Ødegaard on loan until the end of the season.

The Norwegian left Real Madrid in search for regular playing time. Ødegaard has played just 9 games for the Galaticos in all competition this season.

The 22-year-old was on loan to Real Sociedad last season where he made 36 appearances, scoring seven goals and nine assists.

Ødegaard will be available for selection on Saturday when Arsenal lock horns with Manchester United in the premier league at the Emirates Stadium.
