Deputy Governor Train With Super Eagles

By Olamide Oyetunji - Preparation has commenced fully in the Super Eagles camp as core players of the team made their grande entrance into the camp in Benin City for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sierra Leone.

Edo state Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu was involved in training alongside several top European based players invited by Gernot Rohr.

It is not the first time the number two citizen of Edo state will be playing football as he has been a registered player of Bendel Insurance of Benin in the Nigeria National League.

Goalkeepers like Maduka Okoye and Sebastian Osigwe participated in the light walkout while a sudden guest in Ikechukwu Ezenwa also involved himself in the normal routine as confusion continues to linger about sudden appearance.

Meanwhile, Joseph Ayodele Aribo, Oghenekaro Etebo and Alexander Iwobi are the notable midfielders while Kelechi Iheanacho, Ahmed Musa and Dennis Bonaventure also did some jogging.
