Arsenal Player Apologise After Receiving Life Threats

By Olamide Oyetunji - Arsenal striker Nicolas Pepe has apologized to the supporters for his action in the last Premier League game.

The Arsenal forward was shown a straight red card by referee Anthony Taylor for aiming a headbutt at Leeds United defender Ezgjan Alioski.

It was the culmination of a running battle Alioski and Pepe had been involved in for the previous few minutes.

The aftermath has led to both Pepe and Alioski receiving “vile abuse” on social media, with Arsenal intent on tracking the culprits down.

However, Pepe has finally tender an apology to Arsenal faithful supporters through Instagram.
