"We Will Qualify For AFCON 2022 In November" - Gernot Rohr

Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr is optimistic that Nigeria will book a spot in the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations in November.

Speaking on the results through the verified Super Eagles twitter account, the Franco-German manager emphasize that the team will return to winning ways against Sierra Leone and it will give them a chance to compete among the elites in Africa.

"I believe these very good friendly games (versus Algeria and Tunisia) will help us to return to winning ways when we play Sierra Leone next month(home and away). 

"Good results next month may see us qualifying for the 2022 AFCON already."

Nigeria are currently topping their Africa Cup of Nations with six points from a possible six with victories over Benin Republic and Lesotho.
