Super Eagles Could Have Won Against Tunisia - Coach Gernot Rohr

After failing to win in the October 2020 international exhibitions against two North African sides, Coach Gernot Rohr has admitted that his team should have come out with better results.

Speaking through the verified media handle of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr said Nigeria could have drawn one match and won the second match if not for some elements of luck.

African Champions Algeria won by a narrow 1-0 victory while Kelechi Iheanacho scored one and missed a penalty kick in a 1-1 draw with Tunisia.

"We are happy to have had this opportunity to be camped in Austria for 10 days. It was a very good feeling to be together again after being away for 11 months, although we missed some key players."

"The two friendly games we played were very good competitive games. Algeria and Tunisia are very good teams. Indeed, the results could have been better. We could have picked a draw against Algeria and a win against Tunisia."
