Algeria beat Nigeria in a keenly contested encounter

By Emmanuel Oladele - The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Friday night were defeated by the Algeria National Football team in a keenly contested encounter in Austria.

Goal from from Borussia Mönchengladbach defender Ramy Bensebaini in the 6th minute made the difference for the Algeria side.

The Nigeria Super Eagles made a lot of efforts to get themselves back into the game but the Algerians were strong enough to defend their 1-0 lead on Friday.

Nigeria will now face Tunisia on Tuesday 13th of October in an another friendly encounter.
