Official: Chelsea complete Edouard Mendy signing from Rennes

By Emmanuel Oladele - Chelsea have completed the signing of Senegalese international goalkeeper Edouard Mendy from Rennes.

The 28-year-old joined Chelsea on a five-year deal worth £22m and he's expected to become the first choice goalkeeper at Stamford Bridge following Kepa Arrizabalaga shaky performance.

Edouard could make his debut for the Blues this weekend when they face West Brom in the English Premier League matchday 3.
