By Emmanuel Oladele - North African Country Algeria has been handed the right to host the 2022 African Nations Championship (CHAN), a tournament that gives footballers plying their trade on Africa soil to showcase their talents.
The 2020 edition which was to hold Ethiopia will not hold due to the Coronavirus Pandemic which has disrupted sporting activities across the globe.
Algeria will now host the 7th edition of the tournament in 2022.
The 2018 edition in Morocco had the host as the Champions and they are also the defending Champion.
Cities selected to host the tournament are; Algiers, Oran, Annaba and Constantine.
Nigeria Home-based Eagles will also hope to be part of the tournament come 2022.
