Former Arsenal Manager Unai Emery set to join La Liga side

By Emmanuel Oladele - Former Arsenal manager Unai Emery is set to join La Liga side Villarreal as reports claimed that the Spaniard is close to joining the La Liga outfit.

The 48-year-old was sacked in November as Arsenal manager, and he's looking likely to become the new manager of Villarreal as the current manager Javier Calleja is set to part ways with the club and Emery is seen as superb replacement for the manager.

Villarreal finished fifth on the La Liga log and enjoyed an impressive run of form in the just concluded 2019/2020 season.
