Super Eagles striker Odion Jude Ighalo was the hero of the evening as Manchester United progress to the Semi Final of the English Emirate FA Cup on Saturday.
The 31-year-old bagged his fifth goal in four starts as Manchester United were able to overcome Norwich City by 2-1 after extra time at Carrow Road.
After a goalless first half, United got their act together when Maguire swans forward. He sends Shaw off down the left. Shaw hooks in for Mata, who dinks forward for Ighalo, onside in acres of space. Ighalo swivels and prods the dropping ball past Krul classified as a classic poacher’s strike.
The underdogs levelled matters with a screamer from Cantwell who was teed up by Hernandez, who had cut in from the left. He unleashes an unstoppable swerver into the bottom right from 25 yards. Argentina goalkeeper, Sergio Romero was blocked by Harry Maguire and had no chance of getting a hand to it.
Harry Maguire was able to get the winner deep into the extra time period as Norwich City with there numerical deficient nearly pushed the game to penalty shoot-out.
