Chelsea target impresses again in Bundesliga Showdown

By Oladele Emmanuel - Chelsea target Kai Havertz has continue to reveal himself as a worthy addition to the current Chelsea squad after scoring another brace in Saturday's Bundesliga game between his side, Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Mönchengladbach, the game ended 3-1 in favour of the visitors, Bayer Leverkusen.

Recall that the German forward scored a brace last weekend in his side 4-1 demolition of Werder Bremen and yet scored another brace in today's game. The 20-year-old scored in the 7th minute of the first half and got his second goal from the spot in the 58th minute in the second half, before Sven Bender's 81st minute strike that sealed the victory for the visitors. Marcus Thuram lone goal for Mönchengladbach in the 52nd minute could not stop the entertaining Leverkusen side from recording a 3-1 victory at Borussia-Park.

Four goals in two games is a superb performance for the Chelsea target.

The future is bright for Chelsea if they can land the striker at Stamford Bridge, it will be a superb addition to Frank Lampard led side.

He's still very young (20-year-old), securing his service can go a very long way for the Blues.
