Three Heartbreaking Tragedy that Hit Nigeria Football so Hard in March

Just in the month of March alone, Nigeria Professional Football League have been hit with three massive tragedy.
On the 2nd of March after the Matchday 22 fixture between Lobi Stars and Kwara United in Ilorin, LobiStars were on their way back home when the team's coaster bus caught fire, a situation that was massive and could not be brought under control, the bus got burnt and was totally condemned.
Even though the team could not recovered their bus, but they have something to cheer as no life was lost in the ugly incident.

In the next game, Matchday 23 fixture, another horrific incident that occurred made a lot of Football fans in the country to shed tears as Nasarawa United defender Chineme Martins died on the pitch after a collision with a Katsina United Player.
The incident which happened on March 8th should maybe have been taken care of, but the home team were never prepared in anyway to handle such situation, the death of Chimene Martins happened as a result of the carelessness of the League body and also the home team Nasarawa United, every efforts to revive him proved abortive as there were not enough resources to give proper first aid.
Just today, Rangers International Striker Ifeanyi George with two other people, one identified to be his friend, while the other is Rangers International Feeders Team Players, were involved in a ghastly motor accident on their way home this morning.

Nigfooty.com can report that Ifeanyi George is dead while two others were badly injured.

A difficult time for Nigeria Football and Fans. May their soul rest in peace.
