Chelsea hit with worst-ever injury crisis ahead of Everton clash

As Chelsea host Everton on Sunday in the English Premier League, the Blues are set to be without nine key players in the encounter.

Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi suffered another hamstring injury in training, midfielder Mateo Kovacic is also out of Sunday's clash with an Achilles issue.

Willian is down with Achilles problem but he's expected to face a late fitness test ahead of the encounter. Another midfielder Jorginho will commence a two match league suspension as Kante continues to recover from an adductor problem.

Andreas Christensen is doubtful, with Tammy Abraham out with an ankle problem.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic could return after taking part in a test game at Chelsea's training ground on Friday.

As Chelsea continue to push for a top four finish in the English Premier League, the game against Everton is going to be a very difficult one for Frank Lampard as he has lost nine key players in the team to injury and will be expected to perform magic with the available ones.
