Arsenal Table offer for Manchester United Defender

Arsenal have moved to sign £25m rated on-loan Manchester United defender Chris Smalling.

The Manchester United Star has being on a season-long at Roma and has impressed since joining the Italia Serie A last summer.
Reports says Gunners have tabled a bid for the England International as they seek defensive reinforcement in the summer.

According to Italia Publication Corriere dello Sport, "there has been talk of Smalling making the switch to Roma permanent - but United also have an offer on the table from Arsenal."

Roma are also willing to offer the 30-year-old a permanent deal worth £20m, but Manchester United will only allow the player to go for £25m.

Smalling has helped Roma to a 5th place in the Italia Serie A this season and are in the last 16 of the UEFA Europa League.
