NPFL: Abia Derby called-off in violence as blood flows

Reports from the Umuahia Township Stadium says the game between Abia Warriors and Enyimba International of Aba was called-off in violence.

Nigfooty.com gathered that the home team Abia Warriors was awarded a penalty, a missed penalty by Abia Warriors got Enyimba fans celebrating, maybe Enyimba fans celebration of a missed penalty got Abia Warriors fans descending on their visitors, hitting Enyimba Chairman with an object.
The match was called off by the match officials due to security issues.

This is the second violence in the Nigeria Professional Football League match venue this season after the Katsina vs Kano Pillars games.
