FIFA Ban Mandela for life, Suspends three others

World soccer governing body FIFA have come hard on some African players for breaching the ethics and codes guiding football.

According to an official statement by the FIFA Disciplinary Committee, three Kenyans and one Uganda have received the hammer as the Zurich based powerful football government has found them guilty of involvement in match manipulation in violation of acts.
Based on facts from investigations conducted, Ugandan player is the one dealt with by the heaviest blow given his central role in the conspiracy, the player George Mandela has been banned from taking part in any kind of football-related activity at national and international level either administratively, sports or any other for life.
The Fédération Internationale de Football Association says that a number of matches in the 2019 Kenyan Premier League season were manipulated.
Kenyans Moses Chikati, Festus Okiring and Festo Omukoto have been banned from taking part in any kind of football-related activity at national and international level (administrative, sports or any other) for four years.

"The formal disciplinary proceedings against the aforementioned individuals stemmed from an investigation into various matches from the Kenyan Premier League in 2019," a statement from FIFA's Disciplinary Committee stated.
The four players were at the time playing for Kakamega Homeboyz and it was the owner of the club Cleophas Shimanyula who exposed the vices of his former employees to FIFA.
