Pablo Mari joins Arsenal from Flamengo

After a deal that almost hit the rock for Pablo Mari, Arsenal have finally completed a loan move for the Flamengo centre-back, a deal that will run until the end of the season with an option to sign the player permanently in the summer.

The 26-year-old is expected to rescue the Gunners from their defensive headache.

The Gunners will hope to bring on more defenders so as to bolster their defence line before the close of the January transfer window.
