United are desperate to offload Paul Pogba after it was revealed that the midfielder now need ankle surgery. Moreover, his United teammates are convinced that it may be over for the Frenchman at the Old Trafford. Meanwhile, Paul Pogba will be out for another four weeks due to injury.

• England: Manchester United have told Nemanja Matic that he can leave. Matic has been linked with a move away from Manchester United in the January transfer window and Tottenham is thought to be the likely destination.
