According to The Transfer Window podcast, Moussa Dembele has agreed personal terms with Chelsea over a possible January move.
However, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with the Frenchman, le10sport said both teams are previously interested in the Lyon striker.
On Wednesday, Chelsea tabled an improved offer by offering Olivier Giroud plus £40m to tempt Lyon for centre-forward Moussa Dembele. The French Giants initially rejected a £34m bid for the former Celtic striker last week. Everything now seems to be looking good for the Blues in securing the Frenchman.
The centre-forward is seen as a player who is special on the field of play, according to former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, "he scores goals in different ways, with head, with his feet, left and right. He is quick, he is strong, he can still improve, he is still very young."
Dembele who has scored 10 goals in 18 Ligue 1 appearances for Lyon so far is also wanted by Manchester United and Arsenal.
