U-23 AFCON: Imama Takes Nwakali, Awoniyi, Bashiru and 18 Others To Egypt

Olympic Eagles Coach Imama Amapakabo has named youth football prodigy Kelechi Nwakali, Liverpool Loanee Taiwo Awoniyi  and former Flying Eagles midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru in his squad for the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations that will take place in Egypt.

Nigeria who are the defending Champions will hope to defend their title from Group B alongside Ivory Coast, Zambia and South Africa in the tournament that will take place from 8th of November to 22nd of November this year with eight teams vying for three spots for the Men Football tournament of Tokyo 2020.
