Transfer News: Manchester United want Sporting Lisbon midfielder

English Premier League giants Manchester United are interested in signing Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes, report says.

The Midfielder signed a five-years contract with his current club last summer and Nigfooty.com gathered that his agent has travelled to UK on Tuesday to get a possible deal for the Starman, Sporting Lisbon is expected to make more than £50m from the deal.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will need to strengthen his midfield with the departure of Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini.

Fernandes scored 31 goals in 50 appearances for Sporting Lisbon.
