Iconic Moment: Liverpool comeback stuns Barcelona

Liverpool produced a masterclass performance at Anfield to book a place in the final of UEFA Champions League.
The Reds defeated Barcelona in the second leg of UEFA Champions League semi-final by 4-0 to book a place in the final, after a 3-0 defeat in the first leg by the Catalan Giants.

Liverpool dominated the game with their high pressure brand of football giving Barcelona no chance to exploit them, and that was rewarded in the 7th minute as Divock Origi benefited from Ter Stegan poor clearance to put Liverpool ahead in the first half.

Substitute Wijnaldum who replaced injured Robertson at half time scored in the 54th minute and completed his brace two minute later after heading home a perfect cross from Shaqiri to make it 3-0.
Origi completed his brace of the night by scoring the much needed goal after Barcelona defence line lost concentration that gave Trent Alexandra Arnold the chance to deliver a perfect corner for Origi to convert.

Liverpool will be expected to go a step further from their 2nd place finish last season as they will take on the winner of the second Semi-final game between Ajax and Tottenham on Wednesday.
