Unlucky MAO FC knocked out of Osun State Aiteo Cup

MAO Football Club on Monday afternoon have been knocked out of this year Osun State FA Cup, the Horlawale Horladosu led side were unlucky against their Ijesha Golden Warriors counterpart and lost by 2-1.
Babatunde Hakeem opened scoring for the Osogbo based club 9 minutes into the first half via a superb strike, but Ijesha Golden Warriors got an equaliser 3 minutes later.

Less than a minute before the half time, a defensive blunder from MAO FC Abdul Lateef Ridwan gifted the Ilesa based team the second goal of the afternoon to end the first half 2-1 in favour of Ijesha Golden Warriors.
The second half resumed with a lot of excitements, but it was MAO FC that dominated possession with several shots on target, but the Golden Warriors defence did well to keep their lead until the final minute of the encounter and MAO Football Club are out of this year Aiteo Cup.

After 90 minutes, MAO Football Club 1-2 Ijesha Golden Warriors, so it ended at the Osogbo Township Stadium.
