Manchester city starlet Dele Bashiru was among the goals scorer as the Nigeria flying Eagles were held to a 3-3 draw by German Bundesliga U23 side Freiburg in a friendly Game.
As the Nigeria Flying Eagles commence preparation for the upcoming World Youth Championship later this year, they were forced to a 3-3 draw by Freiburg U23 team after coming from behind twice.
Freiburg took the lead before Maxwell Effiom scored to level up, but few minutes later the German side took the lead again after being awarded a penalty to keep the scoreline in 2-1 at halftime.
The German side made it 3-1 with 20 minutes to go, but substitute Dele Bashiru produced a moment of brilliance with a goal before Jerome Akor completed the comeback for the Flying Eagles.
The flying Eagles are grouped with USA, Qatar and Ukraine in the upcoming World Youth Championship and are expected to play more friendly games to put them in better condition for the tournament proper.
