MAO FC dedicates victory over Knights FC to Birthday Celebrant Salaudeen

MAO Football Club have dedicated their 2-0 victory over Knights FC of Ile-Ife to the team first choice goalkeeper Sodiq Salaudeen, who is celebrating his birthday today (26th March, 2019).
MAO FC on Tuesday defeated Knights FC of Ile-Ile in a pre-season friendly held inside the Osogbo Government High School Sports Complex.

The Osogbo based club dominated both half of the encounter with a superb performance, team's captain Olanase Taiwo opened scoring for the host in the 45th minute of the first half via a superb frre-kick from a close range to end the first 45 minutes on a high note for the host.

The second half started with a lot of expectations, it was Olawuyi Taiwo who got the second goal for MAO, as the Horlawale Horladosu led side wrap up the show with a 2-0 victory.
Olawuyi Taiwo goal in today's game has made him the pre-season second highest goal scorer behind Babatunde Hakeem who currently top the goal chart.

The shot stopper Sodiq Salaudeen has appreciated the players and management of the club for making his birthday a remarkable one, sighting that "the victory is more than a gift to me and today will be forever remembered in my life career," Salaudeen said.

After 90 minutes, it MAO FC 2-0 Knights FC, so it ended inside the Osogbo Government High School Sports Complex.
