Atletico Madrid have completed the signing of Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata on loan until the end of the season. Morata left Chelsea following the signing of Gonzalo Higuain last week.
The Spaniard had a medical in Spain on Sunday before the club announced his signing on Monday.
Morata is back at the club where he spent 4 years with their Academy before signing for Real Madrid. The 26-year-old striker has also played for Juventus before joining Chelsea in July 2017 where he had 72 appearances and scored 24 goals.
Morata last game for Chelsea was against Nottingham Forest on January 5 in the FA Cup, and he scored the two goals of the encounter that sealed Chelsea victory in the game.
