Argentina and Barcelona star Lionel Messi made his LA Liga return on Sunday against Real Betis after some weeks of injury sideline, but Messi return with a defeat as Barcelona bow to determined Real Betis side.
Junior Firpo opened scoring for Betis in the 20th minute of the encounter while Joaquin double the visitors' lead 14 minutes later, and the first half ended 0-2 in favour of the away team.
Lionel Messi got the first goal for Barcelona in the 68th minute of the encounter from the spot and Vidal responded with another goal for Barcelona 11 minutes later after Real Betis had gotten the third goal via Lo Celso and thanks to an assist from Cristian Tello who was very much in the game.
p; did the biggest damage to Barcelona when he scored the fourth goal for Real Betis though Messi responded with another goal but was not enough to redeem Barcelona image on Sunday evening.
