Henry starts his Monaco coaching career with a defeat

Former Arsenal hitman on Saturday started his coaching career at Monaco with a defeat. The 41-year-old lost their matchday 10, as his team was beaten 2-1 by Strasbourg.
Goalkeeping error from Monaco third choice goalkeeper Saydou Sy gave Strasbourg the lead in the 17th minute of the encounter, thanks to Adrien Thomasson header after receiving an assist from Kenny Lala and no thanks to Saydou Sy the Monaco goalkeeper who failed to properly manage the header. Nevertheless Henry's men scored a consolation goal in the added time (90'+1) from the spot via Belgium Youri Tielemans which was not enough to bring them back into the game, moreover Monaco were reduced to 10 men the 66th minute of the game after Samuel Grandsir a substitute was sent off.

The look on Thierry Henry face can actually tell that the former Arsenal and Barcelona player is not happy with the outcome of the game which serves as his first game in Monaco as the head coach.

Monaco have now dropped to 19th position on Ligue 1 log and have extended their winless run to 11.

After 90 minutes, Strasbourg 2-1 Monaco, so it ended at Stade De La Meinau.
