CAFCL: Adegbite Harmful as De Agosto Edge Esperance

Angolan Girabola Champions, Primero De Agosto are one foot closer to history following a valuable 1-0 victory over Tunisian giants, Esperance de Tunis in the first leg of the CAF Champions League Semi-final inside the Stade 11 De Novembro in Luanda.

An 80th minutes stunning winner from Luvumbo Pedro Bua off an assist from Nigerian attacker Razaq Adegbite gave the home team the slight advantage ahead of the return leg in Tunisia.
The Army team had three Nigerians on display on Tuesday evening but it was the former Rangers striker who replaced Jacques in the 77th minute that made the difference as he won a dual in the dangerous aerial to set-up the goalscorer.

The 25-year-old made matters worst for the Tunisians when he was thwarted illegally by veteran defender Khalil Chamam who as a result picked up a second yellow card in injury time.
Ibukun Akinfenwa was also in action for the hosts for 89minute and was replaced by another Nigerian Kehinde Yisa Anifowoshe.

The match finished 1-0 in favour of Primeiro de Agosto, with the return leg set to be played in Rades on 23 October.

The aggregate winners will face either Al Ahly or ES Setif in the final in November.
