Two Rayon Sports key players to miss Enyimba showdown

Rayon Sports of Rwanda will be missing two of their key players as they face Enyimba on Sunday in Aba.

The Rwandan giant will be without the service of their left back Eric Rutanga and midfielder Yannick Mukunzi.

Roberto Oliveira side were held to a goalless draw in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup quarter final match in Kigali.

Rutanga was suspended as a result of two accumulated yellow cards while Mukunzi who has just finished serving his two match ban is in Sweden for trials.

Roberto Oliveira is like to play Olivier Niyonzima and Prosper Kuka Donkor in the midfield, as Eric Visa Irambona is expected to replace Rutanga on the left wing back.

The return of the team skipper and centre back Thierry Manzi who was previously on two-match suspension as ordered by CAF is expected to add some flair to the side.

The Blues departed Kigali last Thursday to Nigeria as to prepare for Sunday Showdown in Aba against Enyimba.

Oliveira is confident that his players will do well in Nigeria, he said "My players can do it well although we failed to get the win at home but we can win in Nigeria. We controlled the game from start to the end and we will do much better in Nigeria and we must improve to score goal."

He also said the absence of the key players will not be a problem to the team.

Rayon Sports will take on Enyimba in Aba on Sunday by 3:00pm West Africa Standard time.
