Musa: CSKA had to dig deep to win

Ahmed Musa disclosed that CSKA MOSCOW had to dig deep for their win against FK Akhmat in the Russia Premier League game on Sunday.

“A quick goal gave us a comfortable advantage, but the opponent had several dangerous moments,” Musa was quoted on CSKA’s verified Twitter handle.

CSKA took the lead in the 6th minute, thanks to a Aleksandr Golovin goal while Vitinho doubled the lead in the 28th minute and Sergei Ignashevich completed the route for CSKA in the 68th minute.

The Super Eagles attacker was part of the buildup to the third goal that helped CSKA Moscow earn a comfortable lead.

Musa has now made five straight appearance for CSKA  Moscow in all competition this season following his loan move from Leicester city.

The winger is included in the Nigeria team list that will prosecute the friendly matches against Poland and Serbia later this month.
