The Torino midfielder who has just been handed a recall to the Super Eagles due to his impressive performance for Torino this season was missing in action against Roma with as a result of an injury he sustained in his team previous match against Hellas Verona.
The 26 year old deep lying playmaker will be hoping to feature in the upcoming friendlies so as to raise his hope of making it to Russia as Gernot Rohr has stated clearly that this might be the last time new players will be given a chance in the Super Eagles ahead of the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup.
