Etebo shines as Las Palmas holds Barcelona

Nigerian midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo showed class after his five star performance for Las Palmas as they held Barcelona to a 1-1 draw.

The player who has been in fine form for the La Liga strugglers after his loan move from Portuguese side  CD Fierense showed quality as his side came from behind to share the spoil with Barcelona. His pace  to switch play from defence to attack and his ability to win back possession helped his team alot  in keeping the Catalan Giant at bay as the energetic midfielder was able to stand his ground in midfield battle with the star studded Barcelona team.

He was booked in the 66th minute after a challenge on Messi but his overall performance was recognised by the fans and commentators as he was always cheered anytime he is on the ball.
