His pace to switch play from defence to attack and his ability to win back possession helped his team alot in keeping the Catalan Giant at bay as the energetic midfielder was able to stand his ground in midfield battle with the star studded Barcelona team.
He was booked in the 66th minute after a challenge on Messi but his overall performance was recognised by the fans and commentators as he was always cheered anytime he is on the ball.
