Thrashing and Bashing: Nigeria 4-0 Cameroon

Nigeria Super Eagles are one leg in Russia 2018 after defeating the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon 4-0 in Uyo on Friday evening.
After an early pressure from Cameroon, the home team opens the dam of goals when inspirational captain John Mikel Obi brilliantly set up Odion Ighalo who shows great strength to get send a low stinger beyond Ondoa Just before the half hour mark.

John Obi Mikel pokes home in the box off a corner kick by Victor Moses with the help of Odion Ighalo's dummy with two minutes left in the first half to give the hosts a 2-0 lead.

Victor Moses who has been the tormenting the Champions of Africa all game combined well with Gent winger Moses Simon to finish into the bottom corner in the 56th minute.

Substitute Kelechi Iheanacho nail the coffin of Cameroon with a comfortable header off Onazi's cross with 13minutes to go to put the Super Eagles in a good position for Russia 2018 World Cup.

Nigeria now topping the Group B Table with maximum 9points with 7points more than Cameroon in second place.
