Robo FC Captain Rasheedat Ajibade stole the show with a brace as the Super Falconets beat Tanzania 3-0 in the first leg of the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup qualifier that took place in Benin City on Saturday.
Lilian Tule had earlier scored the opener for the Falconets in the first half via a free-kick in the 22nd minute.
The talented Ajibade hit the target twice in the Second Half after Tanzania goalkeeper Gelua Y. Migomba had time after time frustrated the attacking Nigerians with countless saves.
The return leg will be played in Dar-es-Salaam in a fortnight with the aggregate winner facing either Morocco or Senegal in the next round.
Only two teams will represent Africa at the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in France.
