Ezenwa Named Man of the Match

Home-based Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa was on Monday evening named man of the match after an Impressive outing against the Leone stars of Sierra Leone.

The FC Ifeanyi Ubah goalkeeper was outstanding in goal for Nigeria with four notable saves in the first half and he kept the Super Eagles in the game for long in the 2-0 Wafu Cup victory over Sierra Leone in Cape Coast,Ghana.

Ezenwa, whose Coach Gernot Rohr tagged 4th choice behind Carl Ikeme, Daniel Akpeyi and Vincent Enyeama won the heart of Nigerians after decent performances against Benin Republic and Cameroon respectively.

He will lead the Super Eagles out again on Thursday when they tackle Ghana.
