What to Expect From Individual Super Eagles Players Against Cameroon

● Goalkeeping

Daniel Akpeyi: Will be looking for Redemption after the Bafana Bafana saga.

Dele Alampasu : Still Learning and likely not making matchday squad.

Ikechukwu Ezenwa : Put himself into consideration with the penalty he saved against Benin Republic just over a week ago and Rohr might give him the nod.

● Defenders

Leon Balogun : Simply the best defender in the Camp,He could also do well as right back.

Paul Ekong : More of a future Super Eagles captain with age on his side and probably the most energetic defender in the team.

Partnership with Balogun certain to happen again.

Uwa Echiejile : Considered the weakness of our defence, but Rohr will not drop his most experienced defender and second vice captain.

Can he stop Christian Bassagog ?

Ola Aina : Here to learn whether cleared by FIFA or not. Not playing!

Shehu Abdullahi : Right Back that's good going forward but not so good defensively.

Tyronne Ebuehi : Just here to learn too and in as duplicate for Shehu in case of injury.

Chidozie Awaziem : Was tagged 'Calamitous' for his competitive debut against South Africa.

he will be the reserve left back and it is the position he's playing at Nantes.

Uche Agbo : Prone to cards while playing at Granada but we don't pray to lose any of Balogun and Ekong and if such Happen, Agbo-Awaziem partnership is a possibility especially in Yaounde(God forbid).
★ Midfielders

John Mikel Obi : The most important member of the team. Good game reader and an excellent game remote control.

Ogenyi Onazi : Made in Italy for physical battles, definitely starting and Mikel could pass the Captaincy to him in the dying moments of the matches.

Onyinye Ndidi : Tall and good at switching plays. Long passes could frustrate and stretch teams.

Wilfred will play a part but not as creative as people thought.

Mikel Agu : In the squad to learn.

John Ogu : Did well for Super Eagles in the Physical battles of the Teranga lions earlier in the year.

Ogu is a goal threat in set-plays and could produce a beauty from far with his left.

We don't know if Rohr will play Ogu in the first leg but the outcome of the Cracker in Uyo especially in physical battles could turn him to Super Eagles number one physical weapon.

Oghenekaro Etebo : Karo is the most Versatile player in Camp and he's giving Cameroon football fans a concern. Etebo could operate on the wing or in a 3-man midfield.

♥ Forward

Kelechi Iheanacho : Yet to start a match since playing against South Africa but Rohr could play him behind the striker where he did well against Tanzania and Zambia last year.

Iheanacho is a disadvantage to physical battles but the deadliest attacking player in the team.

Ahmed Musa : You can't question his World Class pace and as the most experienced in the attack and the best for Counter attacking football in second halves.

Odion Ighalo : Last chance for Jude, regarded as too 'static' by many.

A poor first half on Friday will finish his national team career.

Anthony Nwakaeme : Left footed attacker according to media outlet 'Futbal Galore'.

Tony will be expected to grease his skull and play like an Israeli.

Big Centre Forward that must get some minutes.

Moses Simon : The little man is probably the last person for an encounter like this but he scored in the 3-0 victory Nigeria had against Cameroon in 2015.

Could be a weapon to draw fouls.

Aaron Samuel : Formerly made in China but a resemblance of a Bakassi Soldier.

His stronger foot is the left and another Nwakaeme but could do a job on the wing.

Victor Moses: The most troublesome for any opposition and we expect him to win free-kicks in good shooting positions.
